This is a very interesting story. It can’t help but make a person think about the validity of all the family history stories they have been told. Thank you for a great review!

Not having a support system is the worst. This woman found her strength after many years after several betrayals, lost marriage, and bad family relationship. This autobiography is a good piece for those who experienced the same thing.

Well done to Kimi J Baibre Jackson on writing Descendant Deception it seems like an intriguing read and a painful story. Secrets like this always tear down the family. I can't imagine what the author must have felt knowing that her father was not her biological father.

An eye-opening autobiography "Descendant Deception" by Kimi Baibre Jackson that
tells us about how family secrets can make or break an individual's life. This book appears worth reading to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Thanks for the comprehensive review. I sympathise with Jackson. It's harrowing to discover you are not who you thought you were. However, it's important to remember that hiding a child's true parentage is most often for protection rather than harm.

I can't fathom how it feels when you realize that you were lied to by people close to you. It leaves you with scars and it takes a long time to heal. Congratulations on the review. It got me intrigued.

I think I love how the cover page is relevant to the story. One can guess what the story is about without spoiling it. I love that even though Kimi was deceived and that this deception led to her seeking approval from others and having low self-esteem, she still rediscovers herself. I can't wait to read this book. Great review.

I love it whenever a writers writes a non fictional story with so much suspense and such good plot that it starts to feel like fiction. This book contains so much drama and suspense, it is very intense. I see my self reading it through to the end. This book plot is great and it has me turning pages. Great job by Kimi Baibre-Jackson. The book deserves all the accolades it's going to get and certainly deserves the BOTD on OBC.

Family deception and secrets can cause huge trauma to people. I can relate to this kind of family issue. It is sad that her self esteem was affected leading to early marriage. Great review. Congrats on the botd!
