The author relates her life experiences of a not-so-easy journey in this book, which is really inspirational. You did a good job of summarising the plot. Nice job on the review!

Ouellette just like some other children went through a lot as a child. This is an interesting read. Thanks for the review.

Wow. It is really hard for someone to share deep cut emotions to readers all over the world. Sexual abuse is a very heartbreaking issue because of the trauma it usually leaves. Powerful book.

This is a heart-grabbing memoir in which the author shares about her family life growing up, motherhood, and her trauma recovery. Her expressive writing draws the reader to the story and stirs up emotions and creates a vivid imagery. Thank you for your lovely review.

This seems like a unique and fascinating read. It is brave for Ouellette to write about the good bad of her life. I'm drawn to the expressive style of writing, and evocative nature of the story. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Autobiographies are my favorite type of books to read because everyone experience is unique within itself. Jeannine story can help a lot of people who have encountered what she's been through and the tools on how to overcome like she did.

It sounds as though the author did a good job telling her story appropriately and thoughtfully. I do commend her for telling her story as ones such as this is not always easy.

Jeannine writing about her life and trauma is inspiring. Writing about things like sexual abuse must be very hard. Although the timeline is non-linear, I think I will still find the story interesting. Congrats on BOTD.

A unique memoir. Hats off to the author for the courage to overcome and tell her life story. However the themes of pedophilia and sexual abuse is a bit heavy for me. So I'll have to pass. Congrats on BOTD!!
