Books like this are a reminder of the fact that we have the power to become what we want to be. The author's life demonstrates why one ought to approach life with a positive mindset. Rather than dwell on things that hold us back, we should channel our energy to positivity.

I like the author's confidence to welcome us to his life experiences and his outlook is realistic, all days are not the same.

As much as we always see some aspects of our lives from the negative side, it's essential for us to see from the positive side too, this alone is able to motivate us and even make us better. I commend the author for a job well done. I enjoyed reading the review. Congratulations on BOTD

One's life is ruled by one's thoughts, beliefs and perception. The author came up with a great technique to actually make the readers understand how differently a single action can be percieved. I love his idea and think that it could provide a lot of help and information about how we can make our lives more enjoyable. He was generous enough to even describe every detail of his life and open up to the readers.

Telling his story in two different sections and from two different perspectives is quite genius. I think this is the first time I'm coming across this style. Kudos to the author.

"Sunshine Among the Clouds" by Dan DeKruif is a memoir of the author's life and experiences. Dan uses two sections of his book to describe his life, the negative perspective and the positive side. If we focus on the negatives we will feel that we have lived a terrible life but by including the postives we can feel that we have accomplished good things in life. Good read and a very good review.

Life isn't all bed of roses yet appreciate the little petals you may find. We all face difficult times along life's journey but cherish the happy moment cause they make us strong and give us hope that there's light in the tunnel. I love how the author shared his experiences, his perseverance and bravery would encourage readers a lot. Thanks for your review. Congrats on being the BOTD.

Many factors determine one's experience, especially in a situation where such a person was born into a poor background. Nice review!

The fact that the author didn't start his book as a reality of living life as a bed of roses made it even more unique. Not many people like to be vulnerable like that nor do they want to relive the negative aspect that life has shown them through writing. I appreciate the author's transparency. Congratulations on BOTD, well deserved!

We live in a world where, most of everything we do is stressful and we end up thinking that somehow we are suffering and lots of bad things are happening. But, that is not true. Good thing happen too, and that is what we need to focus on.
