In my personal opinion,I don't really believe that someone has to guide you to success. Everyone should adopt and trust their unique methods of achieving success. People should share their experience as a way of motivation but not purport to guide as their are unique goals calling for unique methods.

Although it sounds promising, I'm unsure about the structure of the book. It's important to have a good flow of ideas to avoid confusion from its readers. Nevertheless, I added it to my to-read list.

Thats a shame that a it was a bit choppy, but overall i like your review. This sounds like an interesting guide.

At the moment, I’m doing exams and am on the look out for a little more motivation. However, I’m not sure that this book will help me achieve that as I don’t think I’m in the correct mindset to change the way I currently live. Does that make any sense? Great review anyway. :tiphat:

It seems like this book will give a lot of new opportunities to readers such as new learnings. it seems like it will help you to be aware of methods and strategies since it talks about coaching. I think this is perfect to those who's still in a process of knowing theirselves.

After reading the review/synopses of Coached to Greatness: Unlock Your Full Potential Growth by John M. Hawkins, my interest was not struck. It's possible that my lack of interest in sports and self-help books has me a little biased. However, this book would be something I would recommend to someone like my soon-to-be Father-in-Law.

Thank-you the review was helpful. Focusing on a subject is important if you want to do something with it, and writing about it is a way of focusing. If self-improvement is important, this book will help you along the path. So go or it.

A self-help book that provides realistic tips that'll help me reach my goals is what I'd love to read. I'd also love to know the difference between tactical activity and strategic activity. I'm adding the book to my want to read bookshelf.

it seems as though this author takes a practical and sustained approach towards setting, implementing and achieving your personal goals. He has written down his system as a guide for those looking for motivation. I would say his long term strategy is the answer many may be looking for.

Coaching requires some humility by the one being coached. Personalities sometimes clash especially for those who are headstrong but at the end of the day, we all are supposed to be teachable as we cannot claim to know it all. This book has the potential to assist all of us in our life's journeys once we accept the fact that we can learn and benefit from its contents. Great material.
