This sounds like such a positive book. Though not my typical read, it will make it to my TR list. Thanks for the informative review.

This book seems like it could be interesting. It is always refreshing to see life from someone else’s perspective. I think your review was great as it seemed very honest about your likes and dislikes of this book.

Thank you for this incredibly thorough and insightful review! Tackling spiritual subjects can be a tricky thing to do well, and it sounds like this book has a lot to offer despite its flaws. The author’s background makes her especially appealing to me, and I think this book is going on my list!

We are all more powerful than we generally want to believe ourselves to be. What is often considered magic is actually a focused desire made manifest (such as good weather for a wedding). However, the ability to influence such daily events can't be equated with being able to bypass the intent of the Universe in larger matters. We all have karmic lessons to learn and those must be accepted and addressed. Viewed in this context, it would seem that the author has not been inconsistent. Thanks for the review.

One of twelve Universal laws, this one proclaims that nothing happens by accident – that we invite every person, experience, and circumstance to our lives, even the terrible ones. Caarna writes, “When we start looking at ourselves for reasons of dysfunction and misalignment, we start opening up to reveal the unfolding of all the complex but beautiful layers that make up the uniqueness of who we are.” Similarly, Caarna’s approach to fear is one of acceptance. She claims the only way to transform fear is to accept it, explore it, and welcome it rather than avoid it. I know this to be true for myself, though the practice of welcoming fear can feel counter-intuitive. The book is full of useful exercises or prescriptions for working with experiences such as fear and anxiety.

I found some incongruence in the area of spirituality. Throughout the book, Caarna asserts that we must accept that all circumstances and experiences are the results of God’s divine grace. Numerous times, however, she claims her intentions caused weather or other conditions to change. For instance, Caarna claims her intentions and visualizations caused the weather to clear for her daughter’s wedding
I have heard a lot of this before, but not that you can change the weather with your intention. Nice to know!LOL!

I don't think I have the patience for this book.

An interesting story relating to the concepts of how healing, love and spirituality. From a sampling, I found that this book was interesting and is worth a closer read. Well done.

I’m not typically a fan of self-help type books. But I’m intrigued by the author’s all natural and spiritual approach to happiness. Im curious about what more she has to say!

Material that strengthens my spirituality is always welcome, and I resonate with the message that outward healing begins with healing yourself on the inside, leading to longevity and happiness.

I am not a fan of non-fiction. So, I will pass this one. But your review was really good. It was very lengthy and descriptive, gave the opportunity to understand the book fully. Seems a good book. Congratulations on being BOTD

While I can appreciate the author's devotion to her spirituality, this is not a book I would choose to read, because it's just not my truth. Based on the review, it sounds like the author is passionate about what she believes and wants to help others. Congrats on BOTD.

Living in the Space of Light: by Caarna, according to the review, is a self-help book.
This is her personal journey, and as such would be an interesting read. However, I have trouble with the non-Biblical teachings.
The Review is thorough and interesting.
Thank you

I don't like self-help books. At least, by your review I think is not exactly a self-help book but it goes along those lines. I won't be reading this one but good review.
