The author is led by the Master. She can do all things because Christ strengthens her. This is indeed a great an unusual approach for writing a religious book that is based on the Bible. Thank you for your wonderful review.

As i read through your review i started to get more and more excited to star the journey that this devotional cpuld be. I was a tad discouraged but the fact that she does not stay on topic. Things like that distract my focus. However, its minor enough for me to focus on the positives and give this one a go! Thank you for the review!

:techie-reference: I agree that the concept is a hefty one but the review promises an enjoyable and uplifting experience. Susan Butler defiantly connects with the reader and guides them on a spiritual journey they won't soon forget. I am anxious to start my own.

First fruits is taking a closer look at the deep relationship you can have with God if you open up to Him.
It's talking deeply about the love of God being eternal because Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. Breaking down the events of the bible in a more understanding way, it tells of a whole new experience in the relationship with God.
You can tell from its pages that Susan really felt this connection with Him and I found myself wanting that.

Girl, I don't know how you made this review. Did it take you one year to read it all? Anyway, I like this book. 100%. I'm a Christian and I usually change my bible plan every week so this will be a great help to us. Thanks for the review btw at least I know what to expect. Kudos!

I am delighted to read this book about the awesome book of all time that the Holy Bible is. The author attends services of the Baptist Church which is another denomination of the Christian faith, but that is okay, the concepts of Christianity could not change substantially despite the differing perspectives. The Bible has endured many trials before and yet survived the ordeals. It could be recalled that even during the reign of the Roman emperor Justinian and Empress Theodora, manuscripts of the holy book were burned. But then, the compilation made by the Septuagint materialized. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for your well-written review! I found it very helpful :) I can see how it may be confusing to read if the devotionals that follow a precept don't exactly line up with it. Perhaps, that would've made the devotionals more insightful. However, I'm just happy to receive a free devotional haha! Super excited to read. Even though I'm not a Baptist Christian (I'm Protestant/Dispensational), I'll still be using this book as a devotional :)

While I can appreciate the faith and beliefs of the author, I am not a religious person and would have no desire to read a book like this. Based on the review, it sounds like this would be a nice book for believers who are looking for different translations and analysis of the Bible.

Devotionals are great helpers to Bible readers, but sometimes the authors include too much of their personal opinions instead of God's. I'd say they are somehow biased. That's why I prefer to read only the Bible. For the ones who enjoy reading devotionals I'm sure it would've been better to stick with the author's original idea of having a theme per week not to mix them all.
