Touchstone by Linda Eatmon-Jones is an inspirational #Biography of Earle Francis Jones and the incredible family legacy he was born into. It is a collection of #Essays written by his family, friends, and colleagues who had witnessed how Earle embodied the lessons created by a family legacy.

Earle Francis Jones was a remarkable person.

I have not decided whether to read or bypass reading this book.

Thanks for the review.

Earle seems to have touched many lives, which is wonderful, but the idea of this book makes me uncomfortable. Those letters should remain private and personal, in my opinion, and not be shared with me as a stranger. But each to their own!

This seems like a very inspirational biography. I also like that the story, besides honoring the author's husband, aims to impart wisdom about a lot of things, like relationships, family, and attaining ones' goals by turning thoughts into behaviours. Nice review.

To write a book that honors to her husband, the author certainly found a way to show love and adoration to the next level! I find it both interesting and intriguing. I added it to my to-read list!

It's wonderful that the author wants to celebrate her husband and his achievements while he's still alive. I also find it rather out-of-the-box for her to have collected essays from people who know Earle than just writing everything herself. I'm not sure about the errors and I usually prefer when people's ugly sides are explored as well as their good sides, but this might still be worth the read. Thank you for the helpful review.

I like how you emphasised that this book is "a labor of love" and many people who had been in Earle's life contributed to the conception of the book. Personally, I am not a fan of biographies but you drew attention to numerous aspects of his life that are worth reading about. I think that despite the errors, the book contains lessons that will serve as an inspiration to readers. Good job with the review!

It's nice that a wife would write her husband's biography. It's a really thorough book. Thanks for the review.

I think it's a very sweet move for a wife to write a whole book for her husband. I wish I can do it too one day. I think it's clear to see how much love there is in that house. Well done for being BOTD.
