Not really keen on reading books with a family theme but your review makes this intriguing. I like the quotes embedded in each lesson used for emphasis. Thanks for the review!

A innteresting non-fiction book that talks about the different models of families sounds educating. It is good that the author listed glossary of terms, and offerered examples of family types.

I appreciate that this book is inclusive of multiple kinds of family structures without pinning them against each other, trying to argue that one is better than the other, instead showing the positive in them all that will help a child--and their family--learn and grow. As someone who is nonreligious, I am also glad that the book seems to be for everyone despite their religion even if there is a reference to God in it, considering I think that promoting the love of family and caring for children should transcend such boundaries. Thank you for the helpful review.

This is not the type of book I like to read. I will pass on reading this.
