I did not read the book in full only the Amazon free sample and truthfully it sounds like a pretty great read. I am interested in purchasing the book and reading it once finances allow.

It seems very well researched and as though the author wants to shed some light on how one of the most powerful nations was founded.

I'm confused. What does "Remember Paoli" have to do with the arrival of Edward Randolph to Plymoth Colony nearly 100 years before? Does the book follow the story of Randolph'd descendants? I love history and I've never heard of Remember Paoli before! This sounds like a book I'd enjoy. Thanks for your review.

This book sounds like something that I would like to pick up from a bookstore in the near future. I am always interested in learning about our history since I was taught only bits and pieces. It is also makes me proud of my family's heritage in Pennsylvania and being part of the Quakers who founded the state of Pennsylvania. I did know about the mistreatment of the Quakers by the Puritans, but not to the extent that you laid out in your review.
