America's history is definitely an interesting subject. This book reminds me of something: A lot of blood was shed in order to establish the present American system.

I did not read the book in full only the Amazon free sample and truthfully it sounds like a pretty great read. I am interested in purchasing the book and reading it once finances allow.

It seems very well researched and as though the author wants to shed some light on how one of the most powerful nations was founded.

Based on the review, it seemed to be a well-written story about war and America and I am looking forward to digging into this book to be enlightened by this apparently intensively researched novel. Fans of history must be excited to read thus!

This review had me feeling like I had read the book and liked it, for that matter! I am no historian, but I am a teacher. This book could be of great use for me. Especially since it is evident that the information is factual. I’ll be sure to read this book if I’m ever teaching on the Revolutionary War etc.!

This book about unfaltering trust is the spirit of patriotism in these early struggles for freedom and Independence. I'll love to read this book to understand how the entire story unfold. Thanks for the review.

The author offers nuggets about the history of a pivotal era in American history. I enjoyed the insights you shared about the Puritans and the Quakers. It is also interesting to see how the history of this time ties to some of our more recent presidents.

Right now, I am taking two American history and government courses in college. Each of the topics mentioned in the official review are represented in my courses. I would love to see this book supplement what I am already learning right now. I will definitely add this book to my list. Awesome review.

I'm confused. What does "Remember Paoli" have to do with the arrival of Edward Randolph to Plymoth Colony nearly 100 years before? Does the book follow the story of Randolph'd descendants? I love history and I've never heard of Remember Paoli before! This sounds like a book I'd enjoy. Thanks for your review.

While I am not a fan of this genre, this definitely sounds like a well thought out and planned book. Even though this one is not for me, it certainly will appeal to those who enjoy reading about history.

This book sounds like something that I would like to pick up from a bookstore in the near future. I am always interested in learning about our history since I was taught only bits and pieces. It is also makes me proud of my family's heritage in Pennsylvania and being part of the Quakers who founded the state of Pennsylvania. I did know about the mistreatment of the Quakers by the Puritans, but not to the extent that you laid out in your review.
