This story is heart-melting and brainwave. I admire every mother who raised their children alone because this is the only 24-hour "job" that you do not compensate for money but gain respect and love. Truly a mother's love is unparalleled, immeasurable, and unconditional. This is a must-read book for all mothers and mothers-to-be.
Reading is a journey to the world.

I like that the intent to write this book is to dismantle stereotypical definitions on single mothers. I hope to come across this book someday.

I also like the catchy chapter titles. They were song titles. It was a creative way of introducing the themes presented. Thank you for the insightful review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of accounts from single mothers and the struggles they went through and overcame. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I've always admired single mothers (solo moms) because they have broken away from the expectations of the society to take care of their family. They are raising kids and creating homes while wearing the pants and the skirts. This book is a one-of-a-kind to commend them on their efforts. I'll definitely read it!!

I believe that this #BOTD will hit home for me. I am a solo mom of 4 wonderful children that are the my most valued blessings in the world. Unfortunately, my exes and I rarely see eye to eye and that has always been the most difficult part for me. Great review and recommendations

I have seen single moms being judged and seen as stereotypes, too. Some people just don't know how to mind their own business, or how to be kind and understanding. I'm not a parent but I've heard that it's already hard enough even when you have a partner; I can only imagine what it's like to be a solo parent. I salute these women; you all are awe-inspiring.

This is definitely a book I want to read. I understand the societal stereotypical definitions to solo moms. I know I will be very emotional reading their stories but i want to learn and build myself to be a better man. Nice review.

This book seems like an interesting read. I too like that all men are not depicted as deadbeat dads, and not all solo moms are divorced. Some, like me, were forced to be a solo mom when my husband died. That is the true definition of solo mom. Great review.
