A memoir in which the author tells the story of her life trying to help readers learn from her mistakes. Plus, she offers tools to improve life. She also proposes a system called the 6 C's that she uses when making thoughtful decisions; it sounds interesting.

This book sounds like a great read! Although I found a few grammar errors in the sample I read, the overall telling feels very raw and candid. I look forward to getting my hands on a copy of this one! Thank you for the well-written review. :)

She had a lot of strength, willingness in her to at least try. I prise her for fighting. It isn't easy being with that person who is an alcoholic. Great review

Self-help books aren’t a genre I gravitate towards. That said it takes a lot for an author to open up their life experiences with others. Kudos to this author for having the courage to do so. I’m sure there are readers who will benefit from this book and the encouragement of the author.

Great review too!

:techie-studyingbrown: Based on the free sample and the official review? I have to categorically state that is book has a high level.of impact on me. The reflective nature of the novel renders it a useful abode for introspection. She has a realistic perspective and this is exactly what I individuals who are in need of solace, searches for when they read self help books

This sounds like a motivating book! I like the author's concept of the 6 C's. I am going to write them down and try applying them to me! Thanks for the excellent review!

This book seems to offer a lot of fresh ideas on how to improve life. The 6C’s sounds very useful on decision making and the thing about codependency as a coping mechanism opens some perspective.

I intend to find out how to use the 6C's in making major decisions. Seems like an interesting memoir and a good self-help book.

In my opinion, I didn’t like how it started. But I only got the sample. I don’t like religious books because they make me nervous. But i like the system of the 6 C’s.

Well, from what I read, the book is about someone who experienced a life of dysfunction that they realized affected them in ways that they didn't feel good about. With that being said, the author decided she had some detoxifying and healing that she longed for in her existence and has done what she can, according to what she felt was best for her, in her own situation. She longed for order, where there was none.

"Just because people look good outside doesn't mean they feel good on the inside" while reading this book that line was the first that stood out to me. I could relate to it especially being a young adult who is constantly on social media, you see these people everyday who like to give the idea that they are living a perfect life and nothing is wrong with that really, but I think it sends the wrong message to younger persons. I really would like to continue with this book, I think that as young adult just learning about life and other world experiences it could teach me a lot.

This non-fiction book sounds interesting for those readers who are looking for an inspirational self-help book. I don't think this one is for me since I'm not interested in reading self-help books right now. The themes of self-esteem, the 6C's the author talks about, and the fact that the author also approaches the theme of negativity is something interesting. Thanks for the insightful review, I really enjoyed reading it. Great job!

I really like that this is not only an autobiography but also a self help book in some ways. The author definitely sounds very relatable and a reader can learn a lot of life lessons and how to have better self esteem. Great review!
