It is true that the institution of marriage seems to be weakening as divorce rates continue to rise. This is a timely book for married couples, those planning to marry or even anyone in a relationship. I like the idea of including discussion questions at the end of every chapter. Thanks for the review.

This is a must read! Until now I never really thought about why I married, which is not a good thing because without a why you can easily get distracted. I am also learning to control my words not only for my sake but for our kids as well. I agree with the author about the difference between the kids in a healthy marriage &those that are not.
It is really is important to model instead of saying. I'm so glad I found this book!

I like the idea of helping couples to become best friends once again. It would also be interesting to look at married couples from different periods and learn about the challenges they all faced. Overall, this book will bring you that much closer to a happy and healthy marriage. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

Thanks for your review. With 20 years of experience as a marriage coach, the author's advice about marriages and the reasons for divorce must be quite useful.

Hmmm the title itself got a hold on me I and a brief cut out prologue about the book is making my mouth watery about the massage that are content in the book. This will also help in my quest on marriage counseling

I cannot wait to read this book. It is unfortunate that sex, money, and infidelity are the main causes of divorce. I like that it is inclusive of all religions, same-sex or other marriages. I hope I get an insight into marriage after this.

I’ll have to pass on this book since I’m not married or foresee it happening any time soon. I’m sure that it has general points that could be helpful for most couples, but each couple is also unique with their own history (together and without their partner), so I’m sure that working through any problems they might have will take more than following this book to the letter. Still, it is probably a good starting place. Thank you for the helpful review.

Considering the alarming rate of divorce, this is a useful resource. Having a successful 20 years of marriage further makes the author's point of view reliable. Nice review.

Sounds like an immensely helpful book with solid advice on marriage-related issues. However, not being a fan of self-help books, I will probably pass this one. Thanks for the insightful review!
