Interesting topic indeed. I commend the author for doing a massive research on genetic engineering. Am sure this book will add knowledge and answer many questions on the subject. Thank you for the engaging review.

This "non-fiction book that shows ordinary readers the current state of "eugenics" worldwide" is definitely a great read. I like it that the "author used only scientific and logical arguments to criticize the 'new eugenics'". However, I don't think I'm interested in its premise. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

What an interesting topic! One does often wonder how far is "too far" in the field of genetic engineering. It is good that the author has stuck to scientific and logical arguments. Thanks for the review!

It's seems pretty interesting! and even i also agree on the fact that when we are using technologies, we should be careful because they can be boon and a curse depends how you use it. As i am also from the scientific field
I will be putting the new eugenics on my "want to read list".

Thank you for sharing your review with us. The book sounds interesting, but I’m not currently interested in reading non-fiction related to science.

An objective view on an intriguing topic is what this book brings to the table. The arguments offered are thought-provoking and interesting. However, this book isn't one I would go for. I believe it's more suited to those with an interest in science. Good Review.

This seems like a very scientific book. The section I would be interested in is the cloning part, how it is really done.

The development of eugenics over the years has always unresolved tension between wants and needs of humans. Some people want to have the best designer baby possible using genetic engineering and some people have health issues which need genetic therapy. I appreciate Conrad B. Quintyn's efforts to help genetic research scientists to think through deep ethical issues about unintended effects of genetic editing and therapies on humanity and environment. Going solo to publish this, Quintyn has shown his girt and determination because of his sincere convictions. This review is written well. I think I will read the book fully sometime.

Thank you for you great in depth review. I found the sample pages to be very heavy and quite confusing to try to wade through as I read….so working through your great review really help me to understand more of what I was getting into with the samples.
Thank you.

I'm not a fan of scientific writings, and I don't have any real interest in eugenics, so I'll be skipping this book. However, the subject is interesting. Thanks for the great review!

Being a researcher myself, I cannot dismiss the enormous potential of genetic engineering in curing genetic diseases. However, the ethical grounds have to be taken into account. Thanks for the in-depth review!
