From a sampling, this seems like a different kind of self-help book that utilizes the Quran to assist the reader in understanding the universe and overcoming one's challenges in life. While it might not be for everyone, some might want to give it a look. Congrats on being BOTD.

A book that integrates scientific knowledge with the foundation of the Quran. I would like to read a book that invites individuals regardless of religion in order to promote collective consciousness. Wonderfully written review. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

Your review was clear and interesting. I appreciate the matter of fact tone of both your review and The Universal Call--clear about where you are coming from yet lacking any pressure to agree.

I love the review of this interesting true story of a woman brought up in the Muslim faith. To have gone to America to attend university and be told she must marry in order to do so. Then to marry, and her husband said 'no' to her attending university, was such an unjust blow to her education. But she didn't give up. Such a positive story. I would like to continue on from the sample because she is open minded in her views and doesn't preach Islam. I am fascinated by diverse cultures. Great choice for BOTD.

I know very little about the Quran, so it appears that this book could enlighten me. Thank you for a well written, informative review. I look forward to reading more of the book.

"The Universal Call" by Fatima El-Hindi. An interesting book talks about the universe and it's ability for us to receive more from it. Higher consciousness be needed by tapping into higher powers, that go beyond our physical existence. Gratitude is expected, appreciating what you have now to get more later from the universe. Congrats on your #BOTD.

I believe without ascribing some sought of belief to some higher power one cannot succeed. I appreciate the author was able to achieve this while being grounded in scientific principles. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I also enjoyed her style of writing. It's good that it was edited so well too. Though I might need more than a self-help book nowadays, I believe I will pass on it. Perhaps at a different time, I can read it, but it was nice to sample it. She seems like a very intelligent woman and not just bookwise.
