From the book's cover picture, I guess that's the author's wife, Mona. Her qualities that draw me to read this book are that she was described as sweet, gentle, and free-spirited. Interesting review

Memiors are one of my favorite reads as you learn so much from them. Mona sounds like an amazing person and the author manages to get your attention from the first page. Thanks for a great review.

True life family books are my favourite kind of book because it teaches real life experience. I love how the family comes together to deal with their problems. Nice review. Congrats on BOTD.

Although I do not like the cover of the book, I must say, the storyline is a bit interesting. Thanks and great job on the review.

It will be quite interesting reading about the perspective of this world through the author’s eyes. I’ll like to know more about his wife. Great review!

"Logjam of a Beauteous Mind" by Peter Simon Karp is a memoir of the author's wife Mona. This story is quite an impressive eulogy of Mona's life. Peter obviously loved Mona very much. The book is divided into three titled parts representing important highlights in the life of Mona. Sad but very inspiring. We all have to deal with the realities of life and death is inevitable. Mona lived a very calm and sweet life. She loved life, her family and her work. She raised two sons and the family came together during trying times. A well written story and a very good review.

Whenever I come upon a memoir, I always buy it, but this one is different. This one may be too heavy for me because cancer has affected people in my family and they did not beat it. I'm glad that the author is able to go through the healing process with the book.

This is the memoir of the author's wife whom he adored so much and her battle with cancer. This book happens to be the most inspiring memoir I've read and I believe Mona seems like a type of woman every woman should strive to be. Amazing review.

I like it when people talk about their spouse in such a beautiful manner. We are faced with the fear of death which they say is an inevitable end. Nice review.

It was a beautifully written book, trying to focus on the joy and laughter admist the despair of life.
