Congrats on BOTD. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in understanding the Bible, so I guess I will skip this book.

"The Spiritual Treasure Trove" by Charles Ray Smith is truly a treasure trove of 204 Bible topics. These topics are to be used for meditation and study. These are topics for everyday life. For each topic the author gives a brief intro paragraph, references the Bible and presents questions to drive home the content and adds a small exercise at the end. The questions at the end are there to test the readers' understanding and ability to comprehend the topic. This is an excellent book that every reader will benefit from reading each topic. I look forward to reading this entire book. Very good review.

This is a great book for readers who want to easily study the Bible. The book is presented as topics that capture the everyday life of a Christian including the questions they need answers to and the challenges they face. A great Bible study guide. Great review!

Thank you for the wonderful review. This book does seem to break down the Bible into bite-size pieces so that it is much easier to understand. It is too bad he only used the King James Version though, as I sometime find that one harder to understand. I am looking forward to reading more of this book thanks to your review that it really is helpful.

I've just listened to a sermon about the importance of digesting the Word of God and I'm glad this book is selected to be the Book of the Day. A good book to be recommended to those who are new in Christianity.

I can tell that the author has heavily researched before speaking about his understanding of the Bible. However, since books on Faith and God do not interest me, I may not pick it up soon. But congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

I think I'll pass on this book. It'd conflict with my own religious beliefs. The author did a thorough job I'm sure but I don't think I can read it, and as the review states, his use of king James version is very limiting because there are phrases and books omitted from there.

The review is very good, especially with the way the breakdown of the book was presented. Starting with the theme of the book, then how the introductory paragraph of each chapter summarizes the topic of each chapter and how each chapter is no more than two pages to deliver the message according to the topic. The fact that the book simplifies and redirects one's attention towards each topic and where in the bible you can find the authority that supports it, makes this book a worthwhile read.
