Sounds like a great book. The realistic approach to gaining last change by providing tools that require work on our part is better than feel-good books that will give readers an instant burst of motivation but isn't lasting. So, I'll definitely check this book out. Thanks for your thoughtful review.

Positive topic. Positive message. Positive facial expression. Who would not read a book like this, especially in a very agressive, competitive working environment? Congrats!

"Coached to Greatness," by John M. Hawkins is a book about making positive changes and how to do this in the most effective way. Any time you decide to make changes it will take you time to do this because making a lot of changes too fast will impact you negatively and create chaos. On the other hand, making changes slowly and positively will help you find whatever your purpose is. You'll be able to find accountability and have achievable goals and objectives. The author of this book who is also a coach and leader offers the reader strategies to help them accomplish more and be in a better position, which he feels is more important, to help others who are seeking growth. He also offers a four step guidance to the readers. This book tells about symbolism in reference to reaching your goals which some people may not be familiar with. This is finding an object that will remind you of your vision and goals that fuels you as you start to lose your momentum. I would suggest that anyone who has struggled any time in the past with reaching their goals to read this book. It is a well thought out, structured, inspirational and motivational book that will make you feel good about yourself, making changes and achieving them in a positive and effective manner. I will give this book 4 * ' s.

Self-help/motivational books are not my cup of tea so I don't think that this a book that I will be investing in. I applaud the author for using this book to point readers in the right direction and the steps necessary to take if they wish to succeed and that includes taking responsibility for their choices and making better and different ones.

Methods and strategies to help us reach our goals are very useful, they could give us a guide to focus and so get better results in what we are attempting to achieve. However, I have already read several books about these topics.

A self-help book that adopts an orderly approach to show one's internal greatness seems intriguing. Thanks for the summary.

This review makes this book enticing to read. The concrete nature of the strategies and use of symbolism give purpose to setting a goal and carrying out a plan to make it happen. I am somewhat disheartened that this book doesn't seem to provide excitement to get going. However, the work lies within and this book seems to offer a plan to the person who is a self starter.

I think this book is good for someone like me who finds it hard to stay focused on one subject, I am also interested by the concept of symbolism. Thanks for an insightful review!

I liked the advise about prioritizing what we do. I try to do that but I'm not always able. I've never heard of symbolism in this context. That's a great idea to find an object that reminds you of your goals and to refocus. Great review.

Thanks for the enthralling review. I am glad that the book is not offering quick solutions but aims to build the readers and thus create a lasting impact. I would like to read it.

I like the idea of having realistic tools to use for motivation and success. Too bad about the structure issue. This isn't my genre, but I appreciate your review.

I'm clearly not interested in subject books a this, but it's assuring that people active in the corporate world may find this useful. Thanks!
