Great review. Can't wait to sit down with this one as I have one in college and one almost there. Sounds very informative!

I definitely could have used this book when I graduated high school. I have plenty of student loans to prove it. I will read this to be able to better help my children to plan for college.

This is definitely a valuable resource that should be available in public libraries, high schools and colleges for reference of the students. Even parents who want their kids well prepared for life after high school should get copies for their home libraries. The information in this book could well be the determining factor of whether a student will successfully navigate the pitfalls lurking around in the attainment of higher education, for example getting stuck with a wrong career choice or amassing too much debt to pay for college. Certainly a helpful read.

I really appreciate that this book talks about getting good credit and also working on a retirement plan. Two sections I will be reading thoroughly.

The book clearly states how good the book is. If only I have read this before I entered college it would have helped me greatly. But it's not yet too late for me and I would love to read this book and learn from it. It's true that this book should be every high school counselors' office, or college career centers because it would really help them. Plus it helps them to have open eyes about the real life or what we call adult life because it is not easy as how younger people see it.

This is a great indeed. It is true that we are able to do all that we can think about. The author has handled this in depth and I am sure that it will be of help to many people. My favorite chapter is on voiding debt and preparing for retirement. It is something the youth rarely think about so it is nice to read that the author handled it. Thanks for the review.

Even though I'm way past my teenage years, I'm still nowhere near retirement. I admit I've never really thought about it. I love that the final two chapters both provide information for a career switch at any point and successful retirement process respectively. Also, I know a teen who would find this book helpful. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for thus thoughtful review. I'm not a collage student need guide to enter a good university, but I sure would find this resourceful one day specially to reduce cost for university entrance which is Bloody expensive. Upcoming university entrance student and parents of collage student would find this useful.

I appreciate how you described the sections of the book and how it goes from preparing for college to saving from retirement. I agree this is an excellent guide to give out to teenagers when they are starting high school. Thank you for a good review.

Even now that I'm a year away from finishing my Master's I feel like this book will be very helpful for me. It also sounds like there's a lot of information in here that was covered during a financial unit for my social studies class in junior/senior year of high school, so that'll be handy to have around as a reminder. Thank you for the great review.

I love your review. This book is essentially a self-help one that takes a different perspective. Am not in college but I think I can borrow a leaf or two. Thanks for the free copy.

The only thing I should say about y this book is that they should have this kind of books in all high schools. This advice is crucial to youngsters that will persue a career. I wish this were available in the past when I was in school. I wasn't lucky and had to learn the hard way. Congratulations on a great book.

I actually enjoyed reading the review more than I enjoyed reading the book but I am not a big fan of reading about finances so I guess I was doomed at the beginning of the book!

I think it is a great job done by the author by bringing such a well edited book that may guide the students for pursuing the higher education and beyond. The students may keep a copy of this book always with them as their companion guide for a long time.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
