It's All Good: Times and Events I'd Never Want to Change by Charles Sacchetti sounds one great read. I wouldn't say that I have read a book that comprises of a collection of essays. Evidently, this is my first book and I will give it a try. Great review.
Books are beautiful.

The review is great but the book is not my type. So I would rather skip reading it.

I like feel good stories that remind me of my childhood and family. Sacchetti's collection sounds delightful and heartwarming. The title reminds me of a list I just wrote with my nephew. This is just the kind of book I need for a slow Sunday afternoon.

The ability to build a family with memories that enriches and inspires to a point one can make a book out of it is worth all the life's investments. Good book and kudos to the review.

It's All Good: Times and Events I'd Never Want to Change by Charles Sacchetti seems an awesome collection of short stories. Short stories are always good because they talk only the important stuff.

While I enjoyed the golden nostalgia this invoked, it was too saturated with the air of superiority for me to want to read more. The least appealing moments for me was every time a snide comment about the younger generation(s) was made in order to showcase the "perfect" childhood. As a member of a younger generation, of course that would not be something I would like to see when I am just trying to enjoy a nostalgic rainy day read. I would have absolutely loved it otherwise.

Family is everything. When we have relishing moments with family, it's worth more than a million dollars. This book at its core brings to the fore the importance of love and family devotion.
