This seems like a great non fiction book. I like that the story has elements of mystery to it. Congratulations on making book of the day!

I like stories of immigrants, especially when they involve several generations. I don't know much about my ancestors, so it's fascinating how people take accounts of everything about their family members. This is more relatable because it's not about the aristocrats, just ordinary people. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Colors by Samuel J Murray shows an extreme but harsh reality of immigrants. Even though it starts off in the industrial age, it is easy, to an extent, to resonate with the struggles of balancing the good with the bad in an ambience of responsibilities.

This book is nonfiction and contains historical events. I like history because it always reminds me of a simple fact: we have come a long way to be where we are today. The book falls in the same ambit and I'll go for it.
Great review.

Colors by Samuel J Murray is a wonderful book. It doesn't sound like non-fiction at all. It has everything to keep the readers engaged. The war, lives lost, how this family became rich, their tragedies, the lies etc. Themes like mystery, death and politics are also explored.

An account of people's lives and
experience with a touch of history is definitely not the kind of book I would love to read. The book title, however, sounds very interesting.

I would like to read about the Murray's family and friends. Industrial struggle, mystery, crime and death are involved in the story. The book has a bit of history included. Nice review!

The story starts in the mid-nineteenth century and details the Irish migration to America. The focus is on the Murray family, especially William Murray, the patriarch who had many descendants. This captivating story is filled with relevant history that will enlighten readers.

This non-fictional account of the Irish immigrant family is not for me, it's not my cup of tea. I do applaud the author on the choice of cover picture, it is beautiful.
