Thank you very much for the great review.
Congratulations to the author for being book of the day!! This is a emotional, heart-wrenching and sentimental book. The sample already pulled at my heart strings, I cannot imagine what the whole memoir wil be like.

It's so sad that he lost both his wife and daughter to cancer. The review is insightful, but this will be too much of an emotional read for me, so I'll pass

This memoir struck at my heart chords. The author shares his grief in a letter to his granddaughter, after losing his wife and daughter to ovarian cancer. He tells his granddaughter about her mother and grandmother. The book transcends the personal and becomes a study of loss, love, and religious belief. Thank you for your well-written review.

This is quite a touchy story. The author could be an inspiration to anybody around the world currently dealing with the loss of a family member. I'd definitely check this out when I find time away from my reviews. Good job.

It does like a great book of someone suffering from loss. I don't read these types of books very often. They just aren't my thing.

This is a book that will take a reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I can't imagine the grief the author went through losing his wife and daughter to cancer. This is a great loss that takes only the strong to endure.

What an emotional heartfelt book. I'll have to pass on this though, books like this just isn't in it for me to read.
Thanks for the review though.

There are many emotional moments in this book that tugged at my heartstrings. This memoir really detailed the author's struggle with losing the people she loved to a deadly disease. Congrats on botd!

It is a sad story but i would still love to read it. Seems like a great buildup to a book. A letter that turned into a book. Congrats on botd. Can't wait to read it.

The author, Richard, must be emotionally strong enough to endure the losses. I have heard ovarian cancer to be a deadly disease. Thanks for a nice review. Congratulations on BOTD.

How I wish a cure for cancer can just be discovered quickly. This disease has taken a lot of lives. I was emotional and could feel the pain of the author. Nice review.
