This is a great book for readers who value lessons gained from other people's experiences. Thanks for the review.

Enduring hard times can be easier and less stressful with good and kind people around. When a man has the determination to do something or get out of something, the kind of people around will give him the strength to carry on, just like the little engine.

A memoir where the author shares the story of how he went through a severe accident where he broke his C-5 and C-6 neckbones in his spinal cord, and the probability of him walking again was low. The author also talks about how he lost his job and his marriage was in an unstable state. I like how the author shares much of his life experience for the readers to learn from. Nice review.

Mark appears to have experienced a really difficult life journey. I'm glad he was able to document his experiences so that others could learn from them. This novel seems to take the reader on an emotional roller coaster. Congrats on taking home the BOTD!

Paralysis of all four limbs is very devastating. Mike went through severe life challenges, including unstable marriage, but his show of tenacity is unbelievable.
I hope he regained his life afterwards.
Congrats on the BOTD.

The emotional impact of this book is evident in the reviewer's words. I felt a pang in my heart when Mike's physical therapist discouraged him, but also experienced joy when he achieved small victories. The authenticity of his story shines through, making me even more interested in reading it.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

What an insightful review and what an amazing story! Mike is the ultimate example of how never to let 'experts' tell you what you cannot do, no matter how good their intentions.
