I lost a former schoolmate this month to bipolar disorder and it was a sad experience for me. I've never seen anyone with this disorder before and finding out after her death was shocking, to say the least. I appreciate the author providing a platform for people with similar issues to relate with.

I am disheartened that the author was sexually abused by a stranger as a young boy. It's heartbreaking that he suffered from depression and was later diagnosed with poor mental health and type two bipolar disorder. I like the book for the relevant information it provides on these issues. Thanks for the review.

The book is a reflection of today's generation where most people are going through difficult situation during childhood get traumatized and their parents and families can't realize it because they put business and other things above their children. Most people end up depressed and they struggle alot to overcome depression and follow their dreams and passion.

Steven Wilson wrote a memoir titled Teetering on a Tightrope: My Bipolar Journey. Reading about mental health issues from the viewpoint of someone who has gone through them is fascinating. After the sexual assault, the author's life became extremely difficult. Review has clear explanations. congratulations on BOTD.

It was really sad what happened to him, It was a rollercoaster of emotions when I read it and I could feel what he went through has a child who was only 9 years old. Over all I loved the book it was well written easy to follow, and understand what's happening, and what's being said, for that I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars

It's sad to know that the author had to go through all these issues. I'm honoured to have come across this great book where he shared his fight with bipolar disease, depression, and so on. The historical background of that time is also given which helps the readers to understand the circumstances better.

Mental health can be a very hard battle to fight and I commend the author for sharing his own experiences. Anyone reading this who's had their own struggles can find comfort in that they aren't the only ones even though this mostly seems to be a hard emotional read.

Seems like a gripping memoir. The struggles with bipolar disorder and the family context make it intriguing. I get the point on wanting more positive moments, but I'm still curious to give it a read. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Child abuse is real and its effect is captured in this memoir. "Teetering On A Tightrope" by Steven W Wilson detailed the life of author as he struggled with sexual molestation and type 2 bipolar disorder. A good read for parents.

It's very brave of how and author can openly relate life threatening incident and scenes of his own life, having the innocence of mind to be grief about things done wrong or right. I appraise this book a must read for victims of life disorder, take it from me, it's an encouragement of wit and might.

I am fascinated by how the author's family handled the consequences of their child being sexually abused. I am intrigued by the author's struggles as someone who was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar disorder and how he dealt with it.

Thanks for the review. Child sexual abuse is a terrible terrible thing, and I hope the author found some peace from writing his experiences down.

If he hasn't already heard of it, the author might benefit from learning about epigenetics. It's about how genetics interact with the environment. Basically, our DNA is not our destiny; even when we have a genetic predisposition for something, the gene may remain dormant in the absence of environmental triggers. Hopefully someone will tell the author if he doesn't already know.

"Teetering on a Tightrope: My Bipolar Journey" by Steven W. Wilson is a thought-provoking memoir that delves into the author's struggles with bipolar disorder. The book explores the role of family in relation to mental health, examining how the author's mother's deep depression and his father's absence impacted his ability to open up after being raped and during his first manic episodes. It is fascinating to see how these experiences shaped his journey.A good #BOTD
