Great review, based on the title I wouldn't have looked twice at this book. My impression would be it is about basically what is said healthcare and the business of it. Thanks to your review this book covers a lot more it seems.

This book is full of sound advice, but not always practical - we don't all have the luxury of selecting our primary care provider. Many people are grateful to see a doctor - any doctor.

It's rare to see a book like this. My mind can't process the weight of useful healthcare information that would be discussed. The book is a great contribution to healthcare no doubt. Cheers!!!

Wonderful review!
It is rare to find a book about health written in "concise and easy-to-understand chapters" as you have stated. I think that alone is enough for me to pick up that book and have a read.

I wish we had more books like this that give practical advice to people already struggling with a challenging illness. This advice is great to know in advance, but crucial to anyone who is not well and navigating the often unhelpful healthcare system. Thank you for your excellent review.

This book seems relatively American-centric, but I'll reserve my judgement for when I sample the book. Thanks for the comprehensive review!

Well this is a book I would definitely be targeting in a store. I'm flummoxed by how health care in the U.S. continues to be a privilege rather than a right. It is heartening, at least, to see that doctors have a history of a sense of public duty; I refer to you comment on house-calls and bartering.

The author of this book has experience on both sides of the health care coin, making it easy to relate, believe and understand what she shares. I'd definitely read this one. Congrats on a comprehensive review.

This book provides an interesting perspective on the business of healthcare from both sides of the aisle. This perspective is unique because Barbara Regis is both a healthcare provider and a patient at the same time. It would be interesting to read the details of her experience and journey.

This certainly is a map to making satisfactory health care decisions. Your very informative review sure tells us how important this handbook is and how much effort the writer has put into making a positive impact in the healthcare sector.

Where I come from, most people either know nothing about or an uninterested in health insurance. I've always seen this as a dangerous reality, so I'd like to glean from Barbara's perspectives on this topic. This sounds like an enlightening book.
