Many have read the bible but have never focused on the reflection of the bible to human life. I'm glad the author saw this as a concern and decided to write about it. It is true that every aspect that occurs in our lives is written in the bible. I'd try this. Congrats on BOTD

I like the books that offer their own interpretation of religious scripture. However, if this one doesn't offer anything new or revelatory, as you said, I'd rather not read it. Thanks for the review.

Being a Christian, I also believe, like the author, that the Bible has the answers to everything. We just gotta read it intentionally. I'd like to see the author's references to scripture in this book.

It is good that one doesn't get wise from things of the world only which it's theory can change, but the wisdom from God's word is everlasting and it's facts cannot be modified.

This is a fantastically written review! I especially found useful when you mentioned the successful elements like the flow of the book, and how it covers all parts of life and would appeal to a wide audience!

As someone who’s agnostic, I obviously don’t put quite as much weight—or at least the same kind of weight—into the Bible as this author does. However, as a literary student and scholar, I’ve always find the Bible fascinating in how many different ways it can be close read and interpreted, even financial advice. I might not follow it religiously, but it is an interesting text. Thank you for the helpful review.

Actually, I disagree with the reviewer on the thought that God knew exactly what he was doing and that he wasn't surprised or disappointed with Adam and Eve's act of disobedience. This implies that he masterminded their actions which is absolutely not true. The author is right to say that had Adam and Eve not sinned, they would not have died and there would have been no need for a Plan B. God gave humans free will, which meant they could choose which course to follow. Adam and Eve chose theirs, which brought untold harm on humankind. That was not God's doing. That God is all-knowing doesn't mean there aren't times when he'd like to see (without already knowing) the action we choose to take, much like a dancer wouldn't want to be dancing every single moment of her life. I'd like to read more to see if there are other points the author makes which are in consonance with Bible truth. Nice review!
