Moon, a young boy, faced hardships, including smuggling to South Korea due to the Korean war. He met Chaplain Vajda, who introduced him to Christianity. Moon chose Christianity due to a divine encounter. As a godly man, he serves numerous people despite harsh realities. The book is well-edited and suitable for older readers, but contains graphic violence.

I definitely won't be giving this book a read because of ethical concerns. A few actually being described in your review, that being issues of cultural imperialism and the dependency on external aid that missionary work cultivates. The review was well written though, thank you for the effort.

Missionaries have so much testimony to tell that will inspire and strengthen other people's faith in God. Moon's life journey is inspiring and heartwarming. Gladly, he was introduced to Christianity. He was favored by God for saving him through people who presented God to him. I appreciate the thorough review. Excellent!

📚 'The Bulletproof Missionary' by Keriz Rosado is an inspiring tale of Shang Ik Moon's journey from North Korea to becoming a revered missionary. A story of loss, war, faith, and redemption that captivated me just through the review. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Latest Review: Thriving in the Storm by Bill Murphy

From what I read so far the book talks about the hardships the author had to face that a child should not be facing but in my view we go through things to lead us to our purposes and to be taught certain things to progress in life. To help navigate you and provide strength and certain lessons to help progress in life. If u didn’t go through certain things you probably wouldn’t have the strength that u have after the fact. Lessons are to show you how strong you can be through the storm

I enjoyed your thorough review. I also liked the first part of the book, which refers to the character's childhood. It offers an interesting insight into the life of a distant country which I know very little about. Moon appears as a very strong person able to go on in spite of hardships.

Moon seems to be a resilient and honourable man. It is heartwarming to know Chaplain Vajda had such a great impact on his life, to the point of shaping his future and beliefs. Unfortunately, this book isn't for me, so I will skip it. Thanks for this great review!

I enjoyed your thoughtful review. Moon's story of becoming a Christian and overcoming hardships sounds very interesting. Chaplain Vajda seems like he was a great role model in Moon's life.

Congrats on BOTD!
The Bulletproof Missionary seems to be the ideal title for this book. We grow closer to God as we face adversity. Keriz Rosado has a good chronological depiction of Moon's entire journey; therefore, I'd want to read about his adventure. good review.
