The author's fear for Black Americans and her frustration with the system are palpable, adding a powerful dimension to this thought-provoking book. The inclusion of pictures and poetry added depth to the book. congrats on BOTD.

Vickey Robinson seems to be a creative and skilful writer in expressing her views on Black lives in America. Black and White race history, civil rights, and discrimination, are all very contemporary issues to deal with. This book seems to have a message to the teaders. Like to read this sometime. In the current political scenario this book seems to cover all the fundamental facts. For those who have read some information in the news this book can help people understand in chronological order the events that have taken place which have led to the present status in an unbiased manner.
