Hidden family secrets send Kimi J. on a journey of discovery. Not all is well as she makes questionable decisions including an early marriage that doesn't end well for her.

Discovering deception within a family can be devastating. It would be nice to read Jackson's story of self discovery. Nice one.

Family secrets are dangerous. They can damage an individual's trust to his family members, and even affect them mentally and emotionally. I feel for Kimi. I'll follow through the story to find out more about Kimi's life experience. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

It's crazy how families have normalized hiding the truths about others' identities. Are they too blind to realize that these secretes can be damaging? Not everyone comes right after discovering their lives has been nothing but deception. Great review, thank you.

This would have been a good read, considering it's an autobiography. The author needs to fix the errors. Thanks for the review.

"Descendant Deception" is a memoir by Kimi Baibre Jackson, detailing her journey of being lied to about her parentage. The story highlights the importance of courage and love in moving forward, and is recommended for those interested in genealogy and ancestry. It is well-written, well-paced, and heartfelt.
