Sounds like a book that doesn't only offers you help but acknowledges a problem that's so common yet never taken seriously. To be very honest, I (before reading this review) had no idea what Neurogenic bladder and bowl disorder is and on top of that, the fact it's so common in women left me baffled. Thank you so much for this well-written review. Author (JoAnne) shed some light on the topic that's barely discussed. Faith in humanity restored. Adding this book on my bookshelf as 'want to read'. I'd love to gain some knowledge on this health condition so that I could help women who suffers from this illness. Since, author has suffered in the hands of this illness explains her concern is genuine and could inspire the ones going through it.

I don't have Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel Disorder, but I'm sure that those who do would find this book helpful. I also think that people with chronic conditions in general could at least get some inspiration from this; I suffer from migraine attacks, which affect me pretty much on a daily basis now, and it interferes with my daily routine, so I can at least empathize with the author and her target audience. Thank you for the review.

I do not think I'll be reading this one. Although I am glad the author managed to remain positive in spite of her illness, I cannot see myself reading this story; I am not interested in motivational books. Nonetheless, thank you for the review.

An interesting review. The book looks very good, and the topic is unusual as well as personal.

Thanks for the review of this book. For people who are suffering with an illness or injury, it can feel like you are the only person in the world who has the issue. However, reading books like this are great for giving people hope and ending that feeling of isolation as readers recognize that other people are experiencing the same issues.

I like books that help people and this one sounds especially good because the author speaks from personal experience. Thanks for your insightful review!

It takes a good deal of courage to go into so much detail about a debilitating but often overlooked condition. Congratulations to the author!

This is a very educational book about neurogenic bladder and bowel disorder and how to deal with it. I agree that I like that the author gives great advice on living with this issue. It helps that she is dealing with it herself and has experienced it first hand. It takes a lot of courage to open up like that and share a medical condition. Thanks for your review.
