This book is a catch. A true hero who overcame drugs, depression, brutal parenting etc.
This memoir is the kind that evokes deep emotions in a reader. The review is insightful and fantastic.

Sounds very emotional and honest. However, I'm not sure if I'll enjoy a book with so many explicit scenes and sexual language. Thank you for the great review!
"You can be more aware and more present simply by resting in the present moment, open to all that is, without trying to control it or grasp it with the mind. Truly, a marvelous way of being!"

Thanks for the great review and recommendation! Sometimes, the first step to remaining sane despite tribulations is to accept one's reality and if possible, talk about.

The author is very brave in sharing the painful details of his life. Not my particular type of book, but I can appreciate it. Great review.

Reading this book brought a lot of tears to my eyes. The pains that the author went through were unrelatable for me but it was heartbreaking to know that people go through these kinds of ordeals in life and there is nothing that can be done to help them. What was most painful for me was the mistreatment by his therapist, a person who was supposed to be the help that the author needed. it was really sad. Nice review by the way.

This is definitely not the easiest read, but well worth the time of any victim of depression, post traumatic childhood, drugs or sex. Thanks for the review.

The author's ability to recount his past pain is very admirable. I hope the book will help other going through some of the same issues. Great review!

Wow! What a touchy title.
This title tells so much about the book.
Kempfer shares his life experiences that made him miserable and about how he overcame them.
Its an excellent self-help book too.
Thank you for the wonderful review.

The memoir sounds quite emotional; it's not an easy read. I like the fact that the author used humor to lighten up such difficult topics. Thank you for the review.

Thank you for a great review. I read the Amazon review and I can only say it’s a very difficult book to read! It’s not for everyone and I give the author much credit for writing it.

give me the wisdom and ability to raise my children in a loving manner that I may never crash their souls in the name of fitting in the society.
A very timely reflection in an era where social media significantly influences society. I hope every parent has the same thoughtfulness. Thank you for the insightful review.

Thanks for your review. I think this book sounds very interesting. However, I am not sure if the religious background would make it a good match for me. I do believe this kind of stories need to be told. I am just not sure I am part of the right public for it.

I love your review. The author's difficult life created agonizing mental picture hard to shake off in a reader. It's quite amazing he lived through to tell the story.

It is heartbreaking to read that someone had such a hard life. However, it helps us all to embrace the hurdles on our paths.
