This memoir seems quite inspirational - the author discusses about rediscovering oneself through the discussion of her experience of losing her mother. She also talks about people (doctors) who instilled fear, and some doctors who were real support. There is more in this read. Thank you for this nice review!
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

I  agree with your recommendation that this book would be of use to people in grief and hardship because it is about the experience of those emotions by an ordinary person who one can easily relate to. But I disagree with the notion that there is a person you are meant to be; that leaves no room for the role of your specific environment in moulding you

Losing a loved one is one of my greatest fears. Some close friends lost their family members and I witnessed them grieving for a long time. I'm sure lots of people can relate to the author's experiences. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Grief never really goes away, it only gets more bearable as you live on. However, death is an inevitable part of life, so I'm sure this memoir will help someone cope with their own loss.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. This story sounds sad, but I’m curious to see how Meg recovers from her loss.

I knew from the title that this was like a metamorphosis. It's nice to read something like this. It reminds me of the time I was writing speeches like this for people. Anyway, I'm not really into memoirs anymore so I think I'll really recommend this to my friend. Thanks a lot

This sounds like a very hard-hitting memoir – I agree that having the right people around you makes a world of difference, even more so when one is going through a difficult time. Many thanks for the review.

A book that gives a guide on how to cope with the death of a loved one will be really helpful to people who have lost a loved one recently. Great review.

Judging from the review, I feel this book will make a great read for everyone at one point or the other in life as grieving is an inevitable concept in life. A situation where everyone will find his or herself in at some point in life. Thank you for the review.

:( Vibrant massage in this story I can imagine the pain and the grief for the poor child who knows less than a little about life and in this story we can see how strong the relationship can be between the mother and daughter

This sounds like a lovely book. I agree that we should always surround ourselves with the right people when going through pain, in fact, at all times! I like that the book also has poems and inspiring and meaningful quotes. Unfortunately, I don't think this book is for me, as I don't want to read about loss or grief. Thanks for the detailed review!

Winning over life's struggles. This is so much inspirational and enlightening story. I like how music helped the author overcome her pains.
