I believe that many readers, including myself, would find the Doctor and Bob's connection interesting. I also appreciate how the author provided a wonderful perspective on life while remaining impartial. In conclusion, I believe this is a beautifully written book and will make sure to add it to my shelf.

I do not enjoy reading about religious topics, so I'm hesitant to read this one. Meeting someone who has an open mind to talk about things with opposite views tend to subdue some tension. It's a rare opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I thought the title of the book would give me a clue on fishing. I like how it captivated my attention. Thanks for the review.

Several aspects of life can be viewed from different perspectives. This is one of those and makes for an interesting read. I'd love to read about Dr. Richards answers and world views. Thanks for your review!

Oh, how I missed talking to intelligent people! I am stuck with our echo chamber called social media and it just gets annoying by the day. I just wish I could join a book club in our country where we can read this book together and talk about it. Ahh, I can imagine how our conversation will go. Anyway, thanks so much for this.

This a compelling and inspiring read about friendship, fishing, life/ death and what lies beyond. So moving- and having read it once I feel I now want to start it again to glean all the wisdom it contains. Beautifully written. I’ve been buying copies to give away to friends.

I'm impressed by the opening sentence of this review. And the rest of the review succinctly identifies the virtues of a genuine friendship. But I can't see myself reading about it.

I believe that conversations between people should leave room for accepting contrary views and opinions. I like that these men are unbiased and accept each other’s ideologies. There’d always be a lot to learn from reading books like these. Congratulations on BOTD!🥳

It's interesting how the two friends belonging to two very different generations could find so many common grounds and ideas to share. But, I'm a little confused by the cover because it makes the book look like a crime thriller.

A book that explores male friendships without limiting them to alcohol and sports is also extremely welcome. As the two guys learn to know one another's innermost thoughts and spend quality time together, this sounds like an interesting book to read. They probably gained a lot of knowledge from one another along the road. Congrats on botd!

What immediately came to my mind on going through this book is the book, "The Old man and the sea". I see this book as one of adventure. I think so. Well, I can only know that when I finish it. Well-done to the author.

I love to have deep philosophical conversations with friends, and I can relate with Dr Richard and Bob on a personal level.

Having people you can hold intelligent conversations with is so great. I see this book as a self-help one. The two main characters were highly intellectual which made them create beautiful memories together. Congrats on BOTD.
