Official Review: We live in Social Space by Fred Emil Katz

Fred Emil Katz was a holocaust survivor, He offers us an interesting theory based upon four structures that he called spaces. This proposal intends to be useful in bringing a way to avoid other calamities where people do or allow inhumanity acts.

I cannot thank enough L_Therese for the review she did of We live in Social Space by Fred Emil Katz.
And I cannot thank enough Fred Emil Katz for writing the book. Could this event in human history be erased? I do not think so. Therefore, trying to understand why it happened could protect us from such atrocities happening again. We do live in a social space and we cannot dispose of other human beings' lives.

I think that is why it is so important to continue to have books written and education provided on this topic. Far too many schools do not even teach about the Holocaust. In the United States, only 11 states are required to teach students about the Holocaust, and there isn't a mandated curriculum, so some schools can just gloss over it. Some are even trying to erase it already, while survivors are still alive. My father's favorite quote (and I regrettably don't know the source,) was "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it."

A topic that has always puzzled and intrigued me about human beings. I like the idea of the four social spaces and will be interested to discover how he discusses these. In relation to the holocaust, I will be interested to read if his conclusions are similar to mine. I enjoyed the review and the book sounds fascinating and not too dry.

Quite interesting non-fiction book "We live in Social Space" by Fred Emil Katz, who is a Holocaust survivor, and describes about the environments that have allowed cruelty by applying nearly-scientific constructs to them to wonder about the things that made people to be so callous and cruel.
