Great review your enjoyment of the story resonates in the review. I myself hold a degree in respiratory therapy. Even though I left the field after working as a nursing assistant for four years and another six years as a respiratory therapist I can honestly say I had many experiences that made the hard work and under appreciation worth while. I truly enjoyed the brief sample of the writing I read as the wuthor s style makes the reading very relatable. I look forward to enjoying the rest of the novel.

It takes a big heart to be a care worker. And for just a pittance, you have to devote your time to the job which, to a real caring worker, is already a vocation. Monetary considerations are waived for the joy of serving for those who are just volunteers, and not hard-line employees in the real sense. We salute them. I have not read this book completely yet, but I have spoken in the context of what care workers are supposed to be, or are really are. Thanks to your interesting review.

It takes a very special person to be a care worker, in my opinion. It sounds like the author really cares about the job and the people he works with. I love how he focuses on the positive. I think that would be very important in his line of work. Thanks for your insight!

I liked your review. It's true that care workers are paid meagerly for the quantum of work, dedication, and commitment offered by them, through their unusual job. They are unsung heroes the world should recognize and appreciate. The work they do is always demanding and stressful. Each day can be a new experience and new challenge for them. This book can surely attract readers, as it is related to real-life situations. I congratulate the author for this well-written novel.

This is a wonderful review to read. I love how you told about the book and also about how it made you feel. It became relatable and that heightened my already growing interest in the book. I don't work as a caregiver but my mum does and I would love to read this to get an even greater insight into what daily life as a caregiver is like.
Thanks for the review!

I read the sample but I am still not very interested in reading the whole book itself. I have worked in the medical field before and having a long list of family members who have. I do know what it's like to work hard with-in this field and be way under paid. Yet, my beielfs that the hard work and dedication is a reflection of a person because this work can be hard and stressful but it to me was hard not to do any and everything plus more when in this line of work because I became attached to some of the patients.

But back on the topic this particular book though, is something that has my upmost respect it's just not something that I really want to read.

But the review was informative and well written thank you.

This is a very interesting book. I can learn about caregivers' life and how to care for the people in need. Sounds truly inspiring and your review does it great job to showcase it.

The ending of the 'Official Review: Trust me, I'm a care worker, by Christopher Bulteel', is inspiring! I agree to the reviewer's inference, to take things as they come, in life, and not act in a planned way! Also, the review is altogether a nice reading content and inspires us to read the book!

Thank you for your honest review. You are so right that care workers and other support and developmental careers receive so little compensation for their hard work. I enjoyed reading about Chris and also enjoyed the diary style format. I am glad you found this read relatable. The sample I read was on spot with your review.

I would love to see into the life of a care worker. I know how difficult their jobs can be, from the physical toll to the emotional strain, and I don't think that care workers get their due. Thank you for the review.

The title of the book speaks volumes about the author. The book is very informative about the lives of the "unsung heroes"-the caregivers. It is sad that they get "breadline wages". Thanks for the review.

The review itself sounded beautiful. Although I do not have personal experience in the field of caregiving, but watching an aged uncle caring for her deseased wife made me aware of this struggle for the first time. Since then I have read a few articles on caregiving and it always seemed a very difficult job. I was amazed to read in the small blurb and then in the review that the author narrates some humorous incidents. Seeing that someone is capable of finding solace and even recounting funny instances in such a stressful career sort of changed my outlook.
