You would never expect this to be a book about diet and nutrition from the title. “You are what you think.”. This could apply to many things in life, but is certainly the case when applied to nutrition. Of course, “You are what you eat” applies to the start of any revamping of your diet. Thanks for the informative review.

I found it interesting the phrase "freedom from his obesity" and wonder if that's a common theme throughout the novel. Although i am not currently in need of a weight management book, I like the idea of "we are what we think" because it is the thought of dieting and exercising, not usually physical incapability, that, keeps us from losing weight or getting healthy.

Wow..what an interesting book. I've found myself severally putting up plans on maintaining good feeding in other not to reduce fat but just as the author rightly pointed out, I follow up my plans for few days and then return to bad feeding again. This book is very educative for me. I look forward to reading it.

Zeus Defiled by Rez Khan is a fascinating idea published in good English with a blend of Greek metaphor. I believe, this book' ll share deep knowledge in the field of loosing weight. I recommend it to everyone who feels loosing pounds is a must for them.

I was sure that I would be passing this book up, but upon reading your thorough review, I decided to download this book and read a few pages and I am blown away by how straight forward and simple this approach is! I find that one can actually apply this method to many aspects of life they want to change permanently. I've never struggled with weight gain or the need to lose weight, however I do struggle with my mind set regarding food and my ever failing attempts in changing my bad habits. I'm looking forward to finishing this book and trying the 9 steps listed and seeing where it takes me! Thank you for your thorough review!

Now that people are back to normality from the December festivities/holiday, i think the book is timely because people overfed/ did not watch what they were consuming and so the need to shed off the extra gained. Thanks for the nice review. Will definately read it.

"you are what you eat and who you think you are"
This is true looking at how the author struggles with obesity and linking it with real life situations really matches
I think this book is meant for everyone

"Zeus Defied: Mastering The Mindset of Weight Loss" is more than a book about weight loss. Rez Khan compares a health issue like weight loss with the penalties that suffer mortals at the hands of the gods. Some people are genetically predisposed to obesity, that means that when a person tries to lose weight you are defying a penalty of nature (you are defying the Gods). "Zeus Defied: Mastering The Mindset of Weight Loss" is and non-fiction Fitness book that makes the crossover with fiction and storytelling.

This is a book of 223 pages of how to lose weight; from changing your mindset to changing your eating habits. Rez Khan show us that losing weight is much more than "eat less, exercise more, and have a positive attitude". To lose weight you also need the right mentality (by reading the cold hard facts) and a bit of storytelling. Losing weight is similar to an Ancient Greeks Tragedy, but "Zeus Defied: Mastering The Mindset of Weight Loss" offers to readers hope.

From a sampling, this is an interesting book on weight loss and dieting. While these kinds of books are not my favorite, they are still good to read and learn what the author recommends. Well Done.

Awesome review! Told me everything I needed to know about the book. Unfortunately I don't need to lose weight so this isn't a book for me. But I hope it helps!

"The mission is to make healthy eating a way of life much similar to how much thought you put into brushing your teeth or making your bed in the morning. Without the added mental stress, the author believes that those who subscribe to this will make a lifelong adjustment for the better."

Your above lines particularly spark my interest in reading this book. I love reading about health and fitness to remind myself to keep on that path.

In my opinion, if you want to loss weight - quit eating that much! I try to heed my own advice and, happy to say, managed to reach some success. Sorry, but I won't read this book.
