While I was going through the review it actually had a connection about my origin. I felt the impact of his conflicts while keeping up to his strength of characters based on the relationship the chaplain gave him. Thanks to Vajda chaplain for being his role model and to the reviewer you did a very good job

Thank you for your great review. This book just gave me goosebumps. The first chapter left me with pain and fear all at the same time. I could not imagine how a small boy could make it without his father, or an adult from his family, close to him through his journey. This book will definitely make me cry as I read, but the author's story is worth it.

The Bulletproof Missionary is a heartbreaking but inspiring story of a young boy who endured his mother's death, separation from his father, and losing his grandmother. The author has an incredibly immersive writing style, and I was engrossed in the sample pages. Only two chapters in, and I was moved to tears by the narration. I am eager to read the rest of Shang Ik's journey. Congratulations on the well-deserved BOTD nomination!

The review on the book shows that Moon had a good and trust worthy relationship between him and the father. He really did a great job by giving a constructive review

Faith in a supernatural being is what gives us hope and purpose in life. I am so interested in following the journey of Shang Ik Moon from a war zone to the United States until he accepts Christianity. It's inspirational and worth the time.

Thank you for the detailed review of this book. On the basis of it, I just made an informed decision that I will probably not enjoy it due to the violence and the background of war. I my current fragile state at the moment, that would sadden me more than uplift me.

Reading this review of the book makes me want to read it! I am not Christian but I love to read about and learn about people’s lives, especially when they come from a vastly different culture. It sounds like Moon has lived a difficult life and overcome a lot of adversity, I think I could learn from his story.

The review relates the journeys in the book from the one with his father, going from North to South Korea, losing his father, and changing to Christianity. Warning about violence is included. Despite all the weight involved, the book is still reviewed highly. Think I'm going to have to give this one a go for all that's included.

"The story of Shang Ik Moon, the protagonist of The Bulletproof Missionary, is nothing short of heart-breaking and inspiring. Rosado has created a rich and nuanced character who readers will empathize with and root for. The book's premise is intriguing and thought-provoking, making it a must-read for anyone interested in the immigrant experience and the human spirit."

Thank you for a review. Book sounds interesting and based on what you wrote I’m confident to start it from part 3. Can’t wait to learn about Moons path and how he managed to overcome what happened in war and losing family.
