This sounds like a book for deep thinkers. And I imagine, when you've live through the Holocaust, it leaves you asking the big questions of life.

I like philosophy so this book sounds very interesting. I feel that cruelty comes in many forms and I’m interested in seeing what the author’s thoughts are on this subject.

We Live in Social Space is written by Fred Emil Katz, a Holocaust survivor. He describes how something so terrible could occur and compares that time in history to things that are happening in current times. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for bringing this interesting book to my attention.

Given that some doubt the reality of the holocaust, a book focusing on those horrors is just as relevant today as ever before. Of course, the main point of this work is to analyze the question why man often terrorizes it’s own kind. That is a question that is always relevant.

This brings me back to my studies of social sciences. Inhumanity is a topic I think about often. I'd love to read this book and learn about the theory of the four spaces.

I never understood the cruelty. I'm not sure thia book would help to understand it but the topic is still interesting.

Thanks for the excellent review. I also read the sample and now want to read the rest of the book. This seems to be unique research and examples to which Katz has applied his brand of thinking. There ought to be a special classification for such books. 4 stars plus for new and unique approaches to life.

Thank you for the review. From the sample I don't know if I would enjoy this or not. I found myself disagreeing with some of the presentation so this probably isn't a good fit for me.
