This is surely an impacting memoir about love and faith. I'm glad the author was able to survive every obstacles town at her and was still able to pen down this impeccable piece of idea. It's so deserving, congrats on BOTD.

I was enjoying the premise of the book till I realized that some of the content will not go down well with hard-line Christians. I'd love to know what was contained in this supposed Christian book that some Christians would find disconcerting.

Congrats on the BOTD and the OBC review. I can tell it really came from the heart. This book is not my cup of tea, but I hope it gives hope to many. I hope it may calm troubled souls.

A spiritual guide on healing for people suffering from PTSD or curious open-minded Christians and agnostics that don't mind a deviation from the norm.

Spirituality has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose in life. The SECTION I of the book is already convincing me to read the whole book itself. This would be a good book read for calming the mind and the soul.

The idea behind this book, looking for hope, is a great one. It could heal many and give many more hope. Great review.

I like that the author wrote the book in a way that appeals to everyone. She doesn't judge the non-Christians neither does she preach so much to the Christians. It seems as though she struck a balance.

The book is a spiritual guide and inspiration to individuals who have undergone trauma or abuse as the author herself did and to people feeling distressed over the current political unrest and violence in modern society. Nice review

The book sounds interesting, but from reading the review that the book contains abuse, I consider that's not the right book for me. Congrats on BOTD, and thanks for the informarive review.

:tiphat: John:8.31
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

The author of this book is telling us that we can be disciples of Jesus if we believe in him. We can have a peace of mind and be happy for in him all things are possible. Reading also the life of St Theresa of Calcutta is an example of modern disciples of Christ. An inspiration book for those that have gone through trauma, like life threatening illnesses.

The review is very helpful and apt but I don't think I will be reading this. Christianity and Spirituality are two very different things and I have read enough of such books for the year. Congrats on book of the day

This book is the inner revelations of the author who had a traumatic childhood. The purpose of this book is to blow a gentle breeze into the minds of those who are in agony and confusion. The book gives stress on healing effects of spirituality in human minds in these troubled modern times.
