Having been through some similar path,I appreciate the author's quest to share her experience. It's great to see that the she sailed through the travails.
Altogether, I'd encourage anyone struggling with some set back to consider this entirely inspirational book.

Wonderful review! It's great that the author shares her personal experiences with the reader in this book. I truly hope she found healing. This seems like a great self-help/motivational book. I'm going to be adding this to my shelves.

I’m glad that the author had the courage tell her high. I can’t imagine being abused by one’s own mother. It must have been an enormous confidence goes on. At least something helped her get through it. Thank you for the helpful review.

Indeed the practice of any martial arts has always been linked to emotional and spiritual growth. And this story would be a testament to it. I had always liked martial arts including Aikido. I have heard so many anecdotes about it, from its history to its present-day use. It would be nice to look at these anecdotes and explanations from a deeper perspective as it happened and as it was actually and sincerely felt by an author-practitioner.

The author's struggle with self-confidence led her to start Aikido, a Japanese martial art that transformed her life. She narrates her journey in this book and hopes to inspire others.

It's a guide book for those people who have given up in life. It's really a good therapy to let someone heal and find out what is it that they love.
