It seems the author did a great job. A book about his experience as a care worker. Since the personal stories are relatable, enjoyable, and humorous, I hope to read it soon. Thanks for the review.

I want to believe that being a caregiver is a calling. The selfless dedication with meager pay is truly heroic. From the review, I look forward to reading this book soon.

The story needs to be more dramatic in the sense of being ejaculated the full meaning of unfairness of the peoples.

Christopher Bulteel; late career change and work dedication despite the underpayment are among the factors that majorly shaped the story.... so it act as an encouragement to as young people who always feels that it is too late to pursue what we love most.

Awesome review. Careworkers are really unsung heroes. Their everyday lives, filled with unexpected events and laughter, are the highlights of this intriguing book. I should read this sometime.

It is true that the role of health caregivers is sorely understated. They're underpaid and generally overlooked. Yet, we still continue to have the likes of Christopher who is patient and committed to answering this calling. Great review. I think the book is a lesson in patience, endurance, and commitment.

It is a humorous perspective on the life of a care worker, this is a profession that has not really been appreciated or even regarded as one, however Christopher Bulteel gives an in-depth understanding of what it means to be a care giver. It’s a good read

(those working within this position are often highly underpaid, yet still quite dedicated.) I fully agree with this statement. The heart of a care worker is pure and must be full of love in order to sacrifice as much as they do.
I love the concept of humor in such sensitivity. Kudos for this review, it's beautifully written. I enjoy reading personal stories and anecdotes, so I am in the right lane.

Christopher Bulteel Started his book with a good introduction of his childhood. He also brings out the stories with his clients with a funny outlook. He actually made me laugh in all the three experiences he has explained in the review :D :D good job

There are so many opportunities to grow and meet challenges, but it is also exhausting work. I am thankful that there are those who love their job and the people they serve, as this book seems to show.
Yes, it is definitely exhausting work. But, it is also rewarding when it’s the right field for you. I’m thankful, as well, for those who love what they do. Thanks for the feedback! :)

It's also great to hear that he includes both humorous and reflective stories in this book, while showing his care/love for his clients. I'm glad you found his casual tone appealing. Too bad about the errors here, but it's nice that they were not distracting for you while you read. Glad you enjoyed this seemingly great read! Thank you for the insightful review!
Thank you for the feedback! It was definitely an enjoyable read for me, and I appreciate the author sharing his stories. :)

Kalin Adi wrote: 11 Jun 2018, 12:00 It`s worth admiring that the author changed his profession at his 53 years old. Most people wouldn't do that. And how wise he is to emphasize the good aspects of the situations he's lived as a care taker and not to stress the negatives aspects as many do. This, in my opinion, makes the book more appealing.
I agree. :) Thanks for the feedback!

I am currently searching for jobs that allow me to help children with autism as a behavioral technician. I am glad that you could easily relate to Mr. Bulteel since you are a certified nursing assistant. I remember this book because one of the stories involved an elderly lady who farted and was moving the furniture around to repeat that noise.
That was a funny story. I remember that one, as well. Good luck in your job search! That is an area where good people who care are always needed!
