This is truly a live story and not a fictional novel, I sensed this reach story right from the topic, and I must admit the resilience and perseverance of Moon even though life letter turns around for the better, it is never easy to conquer in the face of war and violence. I love your review

It's impressive that Moon chose a religion based on how much the chaplain impacted on his life. I usually prefer fiction, so I'll pass on this book.

Losing a loved one close to you is tough and to go through it at a young age can be emotionally scarring. It is good that he found something to help him through his tough times. Sound like a moving book.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be Moon’s journey as he faces one difficult challenge after another until meeting Chaplain Vajda and changing him to a well-respected and honoured missionary.

It seems like the author had a challenging life. He was able to live with his dad and lost his grandmother when he was still young. He had to face an escape from North Korea to South Korea even at that young age.
I can't imagine the courage and determination he needed to live each day.
I like your review, it is detailed.

I think this is a very heart-touching book. Finding God has changed Moon's life. I'd like to know more about his life story. Not sure I'd pick this up because I couldn't stand the graphic violence. Thank you for an amazing review.

Wow I'm so impressed to hear about how Moon overcame all the hardships. I am a little hesitant because of the violence though so might give this one a pass for now. Thanks for the review!

I’m so glad I read this review before starting the book. Despite its name, I underestimated the importance of Christianity in it based on an excerpt I found and this would not be a book that interests me. However, the series as a whole sounds very intriguing and I may try it at a later date.
Thank you for such a comprehensive explanation of why you chose your score.

I genuinely struggle with books of this nature. I cannot bring myself to read them because of the overwhelming emotions. With that being said, it sounds like a compelling novel with some great information.

A man's inspiration to choose Christianity. Most importantly, I enjoy the bond between father and son. I also feel sorry for all the painful experiences Moon had to endure.

I think the review gives a very detailed and elaborate picture of the book and we somehow get a picture of moons transition and what to really expect. The reviewer has put on some kind of suspensive curiosity into my mind and I would really love to read this one.
