My main take away from this book is how habits and mental attitude to food contribute to our diet and lifestyle. I also like the slower pace at which developmental changes like in weight loss are incorporated. I think this is a more realistic way of approaching this subject, unlike the overnight success promised by other weight-loss regimes. Thanks for an enjoyable review.

It sounds an interesting book on obesity and an antidote for obese people. Nice review.

Wow, I would never have guessed the book is about weight loss! I'm far from being an expert, but I'm fairly interested in nutrition, so it might actually be a good read for me. Thank you for your review, very professional, although you don't seem really passionate about the topic. All in all, your review definitely upped the chances of my reading the book.

A book championing for nutrition discipline. It utilises two aspects; you are what you eat and you are what you think. The two aspects define the amount of weight you will always have. Our mind tends to tricks has to go for what it likes not what is healthy for our bodies. I like that the book uses the nine-step method to help the reader gain nutrition discipline and also have healthy weights.

I already have Zeus Defied by Rez Khan in my bookshelf. I am at an age when my body's metabolism is slowing down and I can no longer take for granted what I eat and the regular exercise needed to stay fit. The holidays have just passed and already, I'm seeing the signs of my negligence in dieting and regular exercise. I'm going to turn to Mr. Khan's book more and more for practical advice to stay fit and healthy by having a balanced diet, a disciplined mind and habit, and regular exercise. I grew up with little junk food, cake and ice cream in our house because of my disciplinarian mom who was tight with the house budget, and so I never had to worry about being overweight. But I'm getting older now and so, I really have to watch it. Glad to see that Mr. Khan is sharing his book once again and I hope this reaches many more readers. I was excited when I first encountered this Book of the Day on Oct. 28, 2018. I then wrote: "The best advice on weight loss comes from a person who actually did it, succeeded in losing weight and went on to live a healthy, happy, productive life. Rez Khan's Zeus Defied shows us how he saved his life from a life of illness and pain towards a life of fitness and wellness." Rez Khan believes that the victory toward a fit and healthy life starts in the person's mind. This book is highly recommended to those with fitness resolutions for 2019.

I very appreciate and i like the concept the author takes to weight loss. I always think that gradual, mild change is the best approach. Don't try to change your whole lifestyle in one fell swoop. I agree it is "mind over matter." Your mindset is what will guide you to a healthy life. Excellent review. I'm glad to see a book providing advice about weight loss and living healthy is worthy of 4 stars :techie-studyinggray: .This book was nice and perfect for those who are interested in reading about nutrition and health. This book will help them and guide them to be healthy And of course this book will guide them in balancing the food they eat. Nice and very informative book.

I like how this review was presented, pointing out its difference from other weight loss program and how the author came up with his ideas. I also like how the reviewer's way of persuading potential readers. :tiphat:
