Official Review: Something Happened Today by Paul E. Kotz
As I was reading threw the free overlook of the book I thought this would be very good for my husband to read if he would. The reason for this is he is always looking for the negative nothing good and this book is the exact opposite of that. Maybe he could start seeing the good in life even if it is just the little things.

It sounds like an excellent book about self-help when one feels like they have done all they can do, and it seems not to work out the way you think it should. For once you start to wonder if what you have is worth the wait. In turn, it causes doubt and misunderstanding, making everything you thought was a go was just insecurity. We learn later that is not the way God made us, and we learn and grow to be a better person.

It does seem like an inspirational book. I'm glad that it is fast paced and short because usually books like this often seem difficult to read for me.

Thanks for your review and recommendation!

Such an amazing father for writing this book for his daughter to read. This book is about encouragement in many areas in life. The world is full of negativities already so this type of read is crucial for uplifting our spirit to live life to the fullest.

"Something Happened Today," by Paul E. Kotz is a collection of eighty stories to help encourage the reader through the author's experiences. This book came about after the author had a life threatening illness happen and he decided he wanted to leave something for his daughters to be able to read about him after he was gone. The book has eight different sections in it. The stories the author tells the readers about are interesting, uplifting, encouraging, and thought provoking. The author offers advise throughout the book that is full of wisdom and he often quotes famous individuals. I believe this book would be a good read to anyone who has needs encouragement. It was very well written and editted. I loved each story and there was a lesson to be learned in each and every one of them. I give this book 4*'s.

I love the idea that he wrote this for his child. What a great legacy! It sounds inspirational, although not particularly like something I would want to read.

I read this book and enjoyed the author's perspective. His desire to pass on these positive stories for his children is admirable. He doesn't just talk about gratitude, but also shows how to put it into practice in our daily life. Great review!
