What a wealth of information. We shouldn't wait until we're sick to start learning. Forewarned is forearmed. Congratulations to the author for making#BOTD.

I will have to read this book! As a former nurse, and now a patient, I have seen a drastic change in Healthcare in the past few years! The author is right when she says we have to be our own advocates. Thank you for the excellent review!

This book looks so interesting, I am going to have to actually read it. From just the preview, I understood that this book is about the medical field and how to use it in a way that it actually benefits you when you need it. The way it is supposed to be. I also saw that its about being a better advocate for yourself and knowing what you need to help yourself. This book is so important in this day-and-age. I cannot wait to read it fully.

The author, a physician’s assistant comes from a family of doctors and healthcare providers. She uses her wealth of knowledge in this detailed and informative book. From how to find a primary care physician to understanding medical insurance and how to be your own patient advocate. I liked that she included her own personal stories. Thank you for the excellent and detailed review of this book.

With the current pandemic, healthcare -especially that of one's family - is atcthe forefront of everyone's minds. The author of this book has an indepth and firsthand perspective on this considering she grew up as a doctor's daughter with her father's practice at her childhood home. Thanks for the thorough review!

The book offers insight on such topics as the importance of being informed and advocating for yourself, health insurance options, the roles of different healthcare providers, and navigating hospital admission. These are the most important details one would need when diagnosed with such a fearful disease.
The review is great.
Congratulations on Botd 🎉

My healthcare system is very different, because I don't live in the US, but I think some of the author's advice is pretty much universal, like opting for a physician that takes the time to listen to you.
What an interesting review! Thanks!

Thank you for your professional and informative review. I admire people working in healthcare so much, this is something I could never do. The book seems valuable and packed with practical information. Obviously it's very important to be able to advocate for yourself when having to do with medical world, it may also help you to survive a hard time with a confidence. No one finds it pleasant when you have to do with medical care but unfortunately it's not possible to avoid it forever. This might be a very useful book for every adult person.

A valuable wealth of information on health can be found in this comprehensive book "Surviving the Business of Healthcare" by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C. The author being a fourth-generation family practice provider has brought this book, which looks worth buying a copy of it.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
