The author's recommendation to read the Bible for gleaning wisdom is an enlightened idea to spread the message of God.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting book focused on understanding the Bible and the wisdom that can be gleaned from the Bible and God's teachings. While this book might not be for everyone, especially those that might not be Christian, this book is worth a second look. Well done.

It is interesting how, after pointing out the practical purpose of the book and its expressed intention to reveal to the reader how the Bible will help them in both mundane and religious endeavors, the element that you did not like is a dogmatic issue about Adam and Eve, a claim that you deny without bringing any arguments yourself. It is as you say because you say so.
Also, there is a contrast between some very high-brow terms, like ”belabor” or ”orthodox canard” and other, less than formal ways of address: ”Another thing I appreciated...”

Not my kind of book, but I'm sure those seeking for both some practical advice to everyday problems and spiritual guidance will find this Christian self-help guide a good read. Thanks for a great review!

After such a concise review, I definitely want to read the book. That the author gives advice on a range of topics based on Biblical wisdom is something I'd like to read. The book's accessibility and non-alienation of people based on their beliefs makes this a bonus. Thank you for a well-written and informative review.

This #BOTD sounds like it makes the Bible more accessible for anyone of the Christian faith. I like that it is non-denominational, so that there are no side moments to distract the reader.
