Thanks a lot for this informative review.
I learnt some new things just by reading this review. For instance, the pathophysiology of fear part where you mentioned that 'fear and its siblings' make us physiologically stimulated with 'increased heart rate and alertness.'
This is a book I really need to read.

Reading the introduction, about how stress may cause so many health problems, made me consider my own situation. For years I worked in a stressful job and constantly had minor health problems, as did many of my coworkers. The strange thing is, once I retired, my health grew even worse. I jokingly sent a quote of that paragraph in the book to several of my coworkers this morning, blaming them for my poor health. I find this book very informative and helpful!

I'm a med school student and stress and anxiety have become my daily companions. Your review makes this book seems like it could be really helpful in combating that on a regular basis.

This is a well conceived review of a book as such helpful in measurable capacity of changing the status quo of psychological being of human beings which is continually perpetuating through populations unchecked for redress. This work proactively engaged all the contextual issues.

I think this book is timely with the pandemic and everything that is happening. There is a heightened sense of anxiety. The author attempts to help readers with practical plans to combat anxiety, fear, worry, and stress that have been known to lead to mental, cardiovascular, and bowel disorders. Thank you for a concise and relatable review.
