This seems like an interesting take on career and religion. For those who are interested in the two it would make for an excellent read.

As a Christian, I find this approach interesting, which offers work advice with a Christian perspective. Undoubtedly the extensive work experience of the author itself is very useful. I find it amazing that the genesis of the book was to advise his daughter.

He delivers a comprehensive guide that is flawlessly edited. Sievert illustrates how to apply the Golden Rule with clients and coworkers, and he discusses the benefits of prayer both for guidance and to resolve conflicts. Sievert references companies that practice Christian core values, such as Hobby Lobby, In-N-Out Burger, and Chick-fil-A. However, he also includes pertinent examples from successful companies like Starbucks. Although it is "not a company known for Christian values," it has loyal customers and meaningful values.

The author might be an entrepreneurial genius, but I know Chick-fil-A was involved in a scandal for discriminating against the LGBTQ+ community, so I'm not taking his word. I don't think Christ would want us to harm our fellow man, no matter his sexual identity.
Your review is excellent, though.

Although I'm skeptical about the title of this book and the concept addressed in it. Maybe I'd consider it sometime. Congratulations on BOTD

I think it's great that there is a book that connects religion with career development in a modern and useful way. The fact that it was written by a former president of a Fortune 100 company makes the book even more important.

I think I will pass on this one as I am not interested in using Christian beliefs to run a business. However, I think there is a market for this book, and the Christian community would fully embrace it. Thanks for the detailed review.
