From the sample on Amazon, it's clear that this is a beautifully written narrative filled with sincerity, love, and sorrow. It's not my kind of book, but for those dealing with the ravages of grief, I expect that it would be highly comforting. Congratulations to the author on receiving BOTD.

I cant read books that have grief as a major theme and memoirs are not the genre I would pick with this particular theme. I would be giving this book a pass. Congrats on BOTD.

The wave of feelings that this book explores is amazing. I would definetly recomment it, and though it might be a little hard for people who have lost a dead one, it might also help them find new ways to cope with their loss and be able to keep moving forward.

For readers who are experiencing grief, this book sounds like it would provide a sense of companionship and a means to cope with loss. The inclusion of songs and poetry is a nice touch.

I am not really into memoirs. I do, however, appreciate Meg’s journey and how she’s attempting to help others by giving her strategies for coping.

The premise of this memoir is not at all rare, but I bet that this would be a beautiful book about how coping and grief affects a person throughout a long part of their life. Thank you so much for this wonderful review, I would surely give this one a try when I have the time!

I think this book is amazing, a lot of people suffer and get stuck in grief, while I do not know if there is a proper way to do it, I believe we all transform because of death. I am not a fan of memoirs, but I do believe this book is amazing.

Thank you for a great review! Often when we lose a loved one, we are confused and don't know what to do or how even to begin the process of healing. This sounds like an inspiring self-help guide to recovery, especially because you can connect with the author. The author shares her journey about the loss of her mother and how she overcomes it to move forward in life. She shows how she went through various emotions like fear of losing her mother, being grateful or angry for the people who helped her versus those who didn't and learning to move on in life. The buttery metaphors and poems are very touching.

the loss of a loved one is difficult for any human being to bear, especially when it comes to a mother. But it is possible to find moral comfort with other members of society.

This book definitely deserves a read. The pandemic has adversely affected the lives of people all around. We have all seen grief from a very close distance. Therefore, this book comes at the right time as an inspiring read to learn to overcome grief and move ahead in life.
