Not only were Segar's thoughts, insight, and experiences properly thought-out and presented, they were backed up by sufficient research drawn from real-life data and case studies. This helped give credibility to the advice she gave in this book.
- I will accept anything that is backed up by proof. I've told my kids to do the same, including vice versa- that they should back up their advice or complaints with proof or evidence too, if they want to be taken seriously. Hence I don't think them too young, for many a time they have given me, the parent, good advice.
