While I follow politics to a certain extent, I wasn't aware of this level of embezzlement among the population of a supposedly first-world country.
The review is excellent and the book is well researched, though it's surprising that economic issues are to such a verfiable level that mental health is a leading resident among the USA's people.
Maybe it's worth a reading for those who think there's greener pastures in the US just so they can provebially wake up and smell the alfalfa.

Thank you for a great review but I won't be reading this book as the UK has enough mess going on for me to worry about I don't have the time or interest to read about America's problems!!

I agree the past governments need to be criticized for the way the country was run. Great review!

Interesting review. Based on just the sample, I definitely will not be reading the rest of this book. I think the author and I might have very different opinions.

From this review, I can tell that this is a great book. It always excites me to see people state factual things and provide solutions to problems. The author has done such a huge amount of work. I hope the relevant agencies take up the work from here.

I really like how the striking cover incorporates so many elements of America and politics. However, it’s probably not a read for me. Congratulations on book of the day!

I expect to see in the book credible studies in the subject matter or a collection of facts from credible sources. I also need to know Batieufaye's background

Readerjorge wrote: 27 Oct 2022, 11:10 The topics covered in the book are thoughtful. It seems that the author has done a lot of research on the factors that promote an economic decline in the United States. Apart from the dubious schemes carried out by some citizens, corruption and wrong government policies also affect the economy. Sounds like an interesting read.
Stealing generally refers to taking away someone's belongings without permission or legal right and often with some kind of forced entry to property or harm done to a person. Whereas looting is a kind of stealing typically during a war, riot, etc. where eg people have rushed out of their homes to a bomb shelter during a bombing, and while doors have been left unlocked looters walk in and help themselves. Hope this makes sense and helps :)

I guess every nation have their 'license to loot problem'. Citizen that took advantages of their government. This is a good to know book, especially for those that work with the government. Thank you for the comprehensive review.

The book is indeed the portrayal of truth. The author courageously talks about the faults in the administration and the ways the people frauds the government. The mention of the economic problems and other social issues make it a worthy read.

Origin, cause, and possible solutions to how Americans defraud the government consciously by acts such as fraudulent disability claims, etc. I love subject matters like this, so I definitely want to try this one. I'm happy the author went ahead to provide possible solutions.

I'm not interested in US politics, and I also don't read political non-fiction, so I'll have to pass on this book.
